Our Second ordeal of the season is at Camp Meriwether on the weekend of May 16-18. All candidates who got elected by their unit into the order of the arrow are encouraged to come to Meriwether and complete their ordeal. Meriwether was the site of our lodge service project this year, but still needs alot of work to be ready for campers this summer. More information on Meriwether, including a map and directions, can be found here.

Members should complete a “2008 OA Member Event Registration and Health Form” to pre-register.  If you have already filled one out for this year by attending either NAACS or Rendezvous of the Order, all you have to do is send an email to This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it and tell us which weekends you’ll be attending.  Or you can register online right now at www.cpcbsa.org/register.

· First and foremost, make sure every new OA candidate that has been elected in your district is signing up for one of our upcoming spring Ordeals.  Let’s make sure every candidate feels welcomed, encouraged and personally invited to join our active, honored brotherhood!

ArrowCorps Five
Written by Connor Q
Monday, 29 October 2007
What is ArrowCorps Five? The Order of the Arrow has had a long-standing interest in coordinating a national service project, utilizing the infrastructure and leadership established over many years of success at the Boy Scouts of America's high adventure bases. Working closely together, the United States Forest Service and the OA have chosen five project sites, spread across America, that will be the focus of our combined efforts. ArrowCorps5 (pronounced Arrow Corps Five) will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for each participant to set an example of leadership in service to those who treasure our national forests. Five thousand fit and able volunteers, made up of youth and adults, will participate. The national Order of the Arrow committee and key sponsors will fund the projects. Participants will pay a reasonable fee to help pay for accommodations, meals, and a full day of recreational activities during the projects.
