The Order of the Arrow serves the Council in many ways. One of the most visible ways is the service that the OA provides to Council camps. At a typical Ordeal weekend, the OA provides over 1,000 man hours of service to the camp. Wauna La-Mon'tay Lodge holds six Ordeals per year, each at a different Council camp.

Wauna La-Mon'tay also conducts a major service each year. These projects often require six or more weekends to complete. Past OA service projects include 17 program shelters and a trading post at Camp Discovery, 19 program shelters at Camp Ireland, and camp fire bowls at Butte Creek, Scouters' Mountain and Camp Lewis.

Wauna La-Mon'tay provides financial support to the Council each year. Money is donated to each of the Boy Scout resident summer camps to support the program each year. The lodge also donates on a yearly basis to the Council's endowment fund.

Most of all, the OA serves the Council through its members. The OA keeps older boys involved in their Troops and serving on the local level. The OA runs many district events including Camporees and Weblos Woods. They do ceremonies to cross over Weblos Scouts into Boy Scouting. The impact of the OA is often least visible in the home Troop, but that is where the OA provides the most service.
