The OA Sash is worn at Order of the Arrow functions and special Scouting activities, when members need to be identified as Arrowmen rendering services. The sash is worn diagonally across the chest so that the arrow is pointing up over the right shoulder. When worn on a "Class A" uniform, the sash should go under the shoulder loop (or epaulet). The Order of the Arrow sash is worn with official "Class A" uniform or Scouting's official adult dress wear (a blue blazer and gray slacks). The sash also may be worn by Elangomats who are not in "Class A" uniform at an Ordeal, youth wearing ceremonial attire, and in such other instances as approved by the Scout executive. The Order of the Arrow sash may not be worn on the belt and may not be worn with any other sash such as a merit badge sash.
